Through sisterhood activities, social events, philanthropies, scholastic enrichment, and community service, Delta Gamma offers a place for each individual’s personal growth
Hi all & welcome to the Zeta Eta Chapter of Delta Gamma at Texas State University! Eat ‘em up!!
Our chapter is home to over 130 women who exemplify sisterhood, service and scholarship in so many phenomenal ways. Our motto “Do Good” is something we as Delta Gamma’s incorporate into our daily lives whether it is giving back to our San Marcos community or striving for academic excellence. It is the strive to do good every day is what drew me to this wonderful sisterhood and it has been more than I could have ever dreamed for!
The Zeta Eta chapter is extremely involved in different areas of the Texas State. We have many academic endeavors, personalities and hobbies and all of our sisters find the common ground of Delta Gamma to bond over. Our chapter is has many high-achieving women that are involved in different Texas State clubs and sports such as TXST cheer, strutters, wakeboarding, club soccer, honor societies, student government and student organizations. Zeta Eta loves being involved!
Zeta Eta prioritizes giving back to our community that has given us so much. Our chapter works multiple times during each semester to clean up 5 mile dam in San Marcos to preserve the beautiful hill country that we all call home. Zeta Eta also works very closely with Guide Dogs of Texas in San Antonio and we hold fundraisers to donate to this wonderful non-profit that gives so much support to the blind and visually impaired community. We also do hands on work with the guide dogs and hold blind sensitivity training. We as the do good sisterhood are very passionate about philanthropy and giving back.
Zeta Eta has been awarded the Patricia Peterson Daniels Award, signifying excellence in demonstrating Delta Gamma's 12 Fraternity Standards.
Regardless where you find your home during the recruitment process, we hope that you find a sense of comfort and where your sisters become your family. I am proud to be a dg together every single day and I am even more proud and amazed of all of my sisters with in this chapter they push me to be a better version of myself. It is my greatest honor to lead them.
